#1. Epoxyshield Premium Clear Coating Kit
When it comes to the best epoxy clear coat, the Epoxyshield Premium Clear Coating Kit is definitely a very nice option. It is great for floors, garages, and anywhere with a lot of traffic. This is really only an indoor product as it just does not have the durability to stand up to UV rays and the elements outdoors. You can use the Epoxyshield to add a nice high gloss protective finish to surfaces.
It forms a pretty tight bond with the surface and also protects it against dirt, mold, mildew, gas spills, mild acids, oil, and other fluids that can come out of your car. Furthermore, it has a nice anti-skid feature that prevents skid marks from forming and just greatly improves wear and abrasion resistance.

#2. MAS Epoxies Table Top Pro
Next up, we have the MAS Epoxies brand, which is the best epoxy clear coat for those who want are looking for a really good tabletop epoxy resin for their home or work. The Table Top Pro is most certainly a pro-grade ultra-clear epoxy clear coat that dries to a beautiful high gloss finish and really makes your tabletop pop out. It is also self-leveling and dries evenly by itself.
We also like it because it even includes a nice spreader and a brush so that you don’t even have to worry about finding the right tools or even worse buying them separately. Lastly, the level of protection is absolutely great and it really does handle plenty of gunk, spills, abrasions, and everything that you throw at your table. It even works to some extent on floors.

#3. Stone Coat Countertops Epoxy Clear Coat
Another great option when it comes to the best epoxy clear coat is the Stone Coat Countertops Epoxy Clear Coat. As the name implies, it works well with stone countertops, but we find it great with all surfaces. We think that the real standout feature of the Stone Coat is that it is quite durable for outside usage. While the previous two brands break down outdoors in the heat and UV light, the Stone Coat really survives here.
Additionally, you can sand it down to a finish that you desire and even achieve a nice matte or a low-sheen finish. But naturally, it dries crystal clear and has a mirror finish. The Stone Coat gives you a nice amount of working time so that you can fine-tune your project without having to worry about it drying too fast. You get about 60 minutes of working time.

#4. Superclear Epoxy Resin Clear Coat
Superclear is another great brand that makes a really nice tabletop epoxy clear coat. We find that this can also be used for floors and wood both indoors and outdoors. As the name implies, this stuff dries super clear and has this super high gloss finish that is pretty mirror-like in appearance. It just gives that extra bit of shine that says this is a new countertop.
Also, it is self-leveling so no need to be all exact with applying it. One of the standout features is that it is super easy to clean and don’t worry about scratching it hard because it won’t wear down. And finally, it goes without saying that it is also water resistant as well as resistant to plenty of other liquids. So go ahead and spill things on it to test it out.

#5. Rust-Oleum Clear Coat
Lastly, we have the Rust-Oleum Clear Coat, which is technically not an epoxy clear coat, but we might as well treat it as one as it does the same thing but better. This is actually a special kind of polycuramine concrete coating that dries clear and also gives you that extremely high glossy look as a good epoxy clear coat would do.
The advantage of the Rust-Oleum is that it is just more impact and chemical resistant than most of the epoxy clear coats out there. Also, it does peel or crack as easily as an epoxy clear coat. Additionally, it is amazing how this stuff is pretty much odorless is has no VOCs. For something that is much stronger and more durable than epoxy, we are surprised here.
