#1.Tomsline ALR-3 ABY Line Pedal

The Tomsline ALR-3 ABY Line Pedal is the best ABY pedal because it is simple, elegant, small, lightweight, and durable. It is made of the best quality construction and never fails you. This pedal allows you to make interesting combos, such as setup one guitar to two amps, or the other way around. Also, you can have one guitar to two signal chains or one guitar to two different amp channels.

In short, this ABY pedal simply switches the signal path from A/B to Y and from Y to A/B. This saves you the trouble of setting up two amps and cabinets for each instrument. Finally, we like how it can be both a splitter and a combiner. In other words, it can be a mute button, an a/b selector, or a selector between a single channel and a double channel.

#2.Fender ABY Pedal

The Fender ABY footswitch pedal is great in that it allows you to plug a single guitar into two amplifiers or plug two guitars into a single amplifier. Additionally, it offers a true hardwire bypass in the off position, which allows you to keep your natural tone and avoid any sort of interference or signal loss.

This pedal offers A and B or A or B switching, which gives you a lot of diversity and versatility in both your setup and tone options. We like how the Fender has a durable metal chassis and also the switches can take quite a beating and endure some serious wear and tear.

#3.Radial Bones Twin City ABY Switcher

The Radial Bones Twin-City is an active ABY switcher, which means it lets you sync up two guitar amps and drive them together without losing gain, noise, or natural tone. Additionally, this pedal has an isolation transformer on the output B, which serves to eliminate hum and buzz from ground loops.

We really like its award-winning class-A buffer, giving an incredible natural tone. Also, the patented Drag Control load correction brings out the natural load on the pickup as if connected directly to a tube amp. The Radial Bones Twin City also acts as a buffer and lowers the impedance and susceptibility to noise. This allows it to be a great signal driver for large stages and long cables.

#4.Morley ABY Selector

We really like the Morley ABY Selector because it allows you to easily switch between two inputs and one output or one input and two outputs. You can either select them both or combine them. Fortunately, the pedal runs passively and works without the use of a battery. You only need one 9V battery for the LED lights to work properly.

For example, you can run a signal to two separate amps for a true stereo effect or switch between two amps for a dirty and/or clean tone. By using this pedal, you can bypass your noisy stomp box and pedal setup. At the same time, you can run a keyboard and guitar through your effects chain easily.

#5.Orange Amp Detonator ABY Switcher

We think the Orange ABY Switcher is the best ABY pedal if you are looking for the smallest active buffered ABY pedal. It has two buffered outputs, one with a custom-designed isolating transformer. Keep in mind that the Amp Detonator also has a button polarity switch that will correct common phase issues between amps, allowing your tone to be both fat and full.

We like this pedal because it is the only active ABY switcher powered by a 9V battery. Also, the transformer output is transparent and both outputs are buffered with a low-noise, linear circuit. Finally, just know that you can drive any length of cable to your amplifiers without any loss of clarity. You can also switch silently between them without loud thumps.
