#1.Carl Martin PlexiTone-S Pedal
The Carl Martin PlexiTone Single Channel Pedal is the best plexi pedal because it packs in all of the good things about the popular original PlexiTone in a small, pedalboard-friendly housing. This pedal has roughly the same gain structure as the high gain setting on the original PlexiTone and features 3 knobs and one switch.
The key feature is the small mod introduced by Pete Thorn that brings more tight low end and a softer high end to make it accommodate a wide variety of amps. Additionally, the PlexiTone Single Channel has a DC-DC converter that allows the pedal to be powered by a 9V Power Supply while still operating on the same +/-12V level as the original.

#2. Wampler Pedals Plexi-Drive
The Wampler Plexi Drive Deluxe is an upgrade from the original and features more ways to shape your tone. Its unique gain structure gives you that vintage style Plexi tone. On sticking point is the pre-gain boost soft click switch that gives you a creamy overdrive. This pedal comes in handy when you want that crunch, response, and boost from a Marshall amp.

If you want that amazing Marshall-like tone, the all-analog Hot-Rod Plexi is a great choice and gives you a truly dynamic variety of sounds. This pedal features two footswitches. One of them turns the pedal on in stock mode while the other Hot button adds up to 28dB of preamp gain.
You can thoroughly shape the sound of the effect by changing the level, tone, punch, and drive knobs. Tone controls the high end, punch controls mid-range, and drive controls gain, and overdrive. For the price, the Rowin Plexion is probably the best plexi pedal if you are looking for something simple and cheap. It won’t sound epic but it will get the job done. Although the pedal is cheap, it is also very durable and made of high-quality zinc alloy.
In terms of controls, there are three knobs: gain, tone, and volume. You also have a toggle switch between two modes: bright and normal. The bright mode allows you to enter classic rock mode with high gains. Normal mode sounds pretty good too and isn’t just normal. Additionally, there is a true bypass switch.
