Best Vented Gas Logs

#1.Natural Glo Large Gas Fireplace Logs

For those interested in the best-vented gas logs, we think the Natural Glo Large Gas Fireplace Logs is the way to go. It offers the best balance of durability, performance, and price. Sure these are definitely nowhere close to being the absolute best-vented gas logs, but we believe most people searching for this are actually looking for the best value.

Luckily the Natural Glo ceramic gas logs fit this description perfectly. They are great for a vented gas fireplace and range from 10 to 15 inches in size. They are also extremely realistic looking and burn clean. Additionally, we like the fact that they do not release any toxic fumes, ash, or residue in the air and you will even be able to spot some red and orange hot spots under the log.

#2.Sure Heat Vented Gas Log Set

The Sure Heat Vented Gas Log Set is the best-vented gas log for those who want a great quality brand that is highly detailed and glows twice as bright as standard embers. In terms of actually creating a realistic fire, we think the Sure Heat definitely does a proper job of this. It is clearly a step better than the Natural Glo in terms of looking more realistic.

However, the price is a bit steep compared to the Natural Glo, so it may not be a good deal in terms of value as you are definitely not getting a bargain. In terms of specifications, it has 60,000 BTUs with a superior flame pattern and fits most vented fireplaces. This set includes 8 hand-detailed painted refractory cement logs.

#3.Pleasant Hearth Vented Gas Log Set

Another great product that we highly recommend is the Pleasant Hearth Vented Gas Log Set. These are the best-vented gas logs if you want even more detail than the previous two brands. This set includes 7 very detailed and realistic concrete logs that are about 30 inches in length and are very easy to install while requiring minimal assembly.

Overall, we would say that these logs have a good heat output and look wonderful. Although it is definitely very expensive, we think it is worth it in terms of quality. And finally, we just want you to know that it requires no electricity and uses natural gas. It also has a 2-year warranty so that’s a nice peace of mind.

#4.Regal Flame 10 Piece Set of Ceramic Wood Logs

The Regal Flame 10 Piece Set of Ceramic Wood Logs is another pretty good value option when you want something that is pretty cheap but still has some decent quality. This is an 8-piece ceramic log set that is all around 10 to 15 inches long. It goes without saying that these logs burn pretty clean and won’t release any ash or residue into the air.

Furthermore, we like that there is really no odor and there’s not really a burn-in period. Also, the flame pleasantly surprised us as we didn’t think it would look as good as it did. And finally, we just want to say that the easiest comparison is with the Natural Glo that we recommended above. While they are similar, we like the fire and flames of the Natural Glo a bit more.

#5.Peterson Real Fyre Vented Gas Logs

Lastly, we have the Peterson Real Fyre Vented Gas Logs, which is the cream of the crop. These vented gas logs have crazy detail and do a really good job of imitating natural wood. These refractory ceramic logs are reinforced with steel rods which give them more integrity. Also, it is nice to know that the log ends and split pieces are a different color than the bar.

We also really like the dual pipe burner, which produces really rich and full flames. In everything we have reviewed, these are probably the best flames we have seen. The only real issue with the Peterson Real Fyre is that it is pretty expensive and most people just don’t have the resources to shell out for them.
