#1.Gibson ’57 Classic Jazz Humbucker Pickup
When it comes to the best jazz humbucker, we have to give it to the Gibson ‘57 Classic Jazz Humbucker Pickup. This is a remake of the original late 50s Gibson Humbucker. We really like the Gibson ‘57 Classic as it gives you a nice warm, full tone with a balanced response. This humbucker is really good at achieving a wide spectrum of tonal possibilities.
Furthermore, this humbucker is also wax potted to remove all internal air space and does a really good job of removing microphonic feedback. It features an Alnico II coil, nickel slugs, and maple spacers. You also get Nickel-plated pole pieces along with balanced coils and just overall nice vintage vibes. This is an amazing upgrade for pretty much any guitar you place it in.

#2.Seymour Duncan SH2N Jazz Humbucker Pickup
Next up, we have the Seymour Duncan SH2N, which is the best jazz humbucker for those who need accurate fast jazz runs with a clean articulate tone great for jazz scales. Yes sure you definitely lose a bit of that low end, but in exchange, you get better clarity and articulation in the upper mids. So far from what we’ve seen, very few people actually complain about this pickup.
If you want a more rounded tone, this humbucker may not be for you. It is pretty articulate, especially during jazz solos that it gets a bit clicky and spikey when picking. It definitely has that nice note-picking articulation and a bit less of the blues-like warmth. Also, it has a nice brighter sound with less output and is a good match with most pickups.

#3.Benedetto S-6 Jazz Alnico 5 Humbucker Pickup
Another great product when it comes to the best jazz humbucker is the Benedetto S-6. This is a sealed humbucker with an Alnico 5-bar magnet for acoustic archtop guitars. We like it because there is no guitar top routing required which is definitely a relief. It features a 2-conductor wire as well as a mounting tab for attachment beneath a pickguard.
So it is really designed for the purists who play a real acoustic archtop and don’t have a pickup routed into the guitar’s top. The pickup is naturally voiced and has sweeter notes and improved sustain. It also gives you more of an even sound across all of the strings and the tone is noticeably improved. Overall, this is definitely something worth trying if you haven’t already.

#4.Seymour Duncan SH-1 Neck ’59 Humbucker Pickup
The Seymour Duncan SH-1 Neck ‘59 is yet another great jazz humbucker that has caught our attention and we think that it deserves a mention. This is basically Seymour Duncan’s take on the classic Seth Lover PAF humbucker, which is found in the late 50s Gibson Les Pauls. It has a vintage style design and the sound obviously works great with Jazz.
We like that it is properly vacuum wax plotted which gives you a very noiseless performance. Also, it has a nice scooped midrange and flexible tones with a vintage flair. Also, you can’t really go wrong with Seymour Duncan. The company has just been around for so long and has a long-standing history of making quality pickups.

#5.Seymour Duncan Antiquity Humbucker Pickup
Lastly, we have yet another Seymour Duncan product that works great in our opinion. The Antiquity Humbucker Pickup Set really hits the spot and has the aesthetics and tone of vintage P.A.F. humbuckers. While it is definitely an expensive humbucker set, we think that it is worth every penny. It has a perfectly balanced frequency response and a sweet treble attack.
Additionally, the low end is pretty amazing and you get a warm full sounding low end. These are all great nice for jazz as you generally get a nice mellow tone that is surprisingly articulate. And finally, we like how the single notes just have that amazing singing quality that really just brings out the right amount of treble quality.
