#1.Lindy Fralin Pure PAF Humbucker For Blues

When it comes to the best humbuckers for blues, we have to give it to the Lindy Fralin Pure PAF. This humbucker is definitely a popular one that is extremely great quality. They are extremely clean and articulate with really good note separation. It is definitely one of Lindy Fralin’s best-selling humbuckers and has a low-output vintage tone.

This model is based on the original 50s Gibson P.A.F pickups and is just clean, clear, and articulate. It also has nice Alnico 2 Magnets giving you that vintage tonal balance and output. #2.Gibson Gear BurstBucker Humbucker For Blues

Next up, we have the Gibson Gear BurstBucker Humbucker, which is the best humbucker for blue if you want something that is wound to the range of the Gibson 57’ classic. And just like the humbucker pickups in the 50s, the Gibson Gear BurstBucker also has mismatched coil windings. We would say that it sounds very close to the original 1959 PAF.

Overall, the quality is absolutely amazing and the craftsmanship is top-notch. This humbucker is slightly unwound and has a medium vintage output. Also, we find that it works well in the neck and bridge positions and has unpolished magnets and non-potted coils. For that sultry blues tone, this is a must-have.

#3.DiMarzio PAF Bridge Humbucker For Blues

Another great product when it comes to the best humbuckers for blues is the DiMarzio PAF Bridge Humbucker. This humbucker is pretty amazing in both the neck and bridge positions. We really like it because it is smooth but not muddy. In fact, it has this perfect balance of clarity and warmth coupled with a sweet tone and a soft magnetic field. Also, it eliminates squeal and microphonics.

We like that the cover is made from nickel silver and the new plating is more magnetically transparent. And even though it has a weak magnetic field, the sound is like a single coil and well-defined. All in all, get this humbucker if you are interested in that sweet bluesy tone that is just an incredibly well-built humbucker in general.

#4.Seymour Duncan SHPG1 Pearly Gates

The Seymour Duncan SHPG1 Pearly Gates is certainly a very nice option if you want to replicate that 1959 Gibson Les Paul sound down to perfection. This pickup has more output than most PAFs and gives your amp that perfect blend of sustain and harmonics. You also get a nice bright airy but focused-sounding high-end and a sizzling midrange.

Clearly, the Pearly Gates are amazing for blues but we actually think that the standout feature is the fact that it is just so versatile and great for everything from classic rock to southern and modern rock. With the Pearly Gates, you get that amazing Texas blues rock tone that many people have grown to know and love.

#5.Seymour Duncan SMB-4A Alnico

Lastly, we have the Seymour Duncan SMB-4A Alnico, which comes with nice oversized Alnico 5-rod magnets, Forbon flatwork, and a 4-conductor lead wire. It features unique coil windings, which do a great job of replicating the 1970s Music Man Stingray’s warmth and character. And with the Alnico 5 rod magnets, you get nice a warm bottom end and detailed highs.

It is hand built in Santa Monica and primarily used in funk, rock, and slap. But our little secret is that it actually works really nice with blues as well. It is a drop-in replacement for the Music Man Stingray basses and has a very organic response and feel.
