#1.Rit DyeMore Advanced Liquid Fabric Dye

When it comes to the best fabric dye, we highly recommend the Rit DyeMore Advanced Liquid Fabric Dye. It comes in a plethora of colorways and is a synthetic fiber dye for polyester, nylon, and acrylic. Overall, we think this product works very well and is quite easy to apply. Just be sure to follow the instructions well and make sure you maintain a high water temperature throughout the dyeing process.

This fabric dye is a non-toxic liquid dye that is great for rejuvenating faded clothing or hiding permanent stains. It has so many different colors that we are sure you can pick one you like. Also, in our opinion, this dye stays on the longest and is probably the most durable. It will survive quite a few washes and won’t fade too much over time.

#2.Jacquard Products Jacquard Acid Dye Set

Next, we have the Jacquard Products Acid Dye Set which is the best fabric dye for those who want a concentrated powdered hot water dye that produces the most vibrant colors. You can either use the mordant provided or use simple household white vinegar for acid. There is no acid actually in the dye and you have to pour it separately.

This dye set includes all of the primary colors and you can mix and match them to get secondary colors. In order to get shades of colors, you’ll have to get some blending colors. Overall, this is a great fabric dye for those who want to get into fabric dying but don’t want to invest too much. The colors in this set really stand out and pop, so definitely a good reason to go with this brand.

#3.Dylon Hand Dye Fabric Dye

Another great option when it comes to the best fabric dye is the Dylon Hand Dye Fabric Dye. It comes in a large variety of colors and these colors go on pretty much permanently without fading. This fabric dye is fiber reactive and is pretty much suitable for all-natural fibers and polyester cotton blends. It is designed to be safely used in hand dye in warm water.

In general, we think that the Dylon brand holds colorway better than most of the other brands out there. And they come with the best colors and perfect tints. Overall this is a fast-working and easy-to-apply fabric dye. The color will last through many washes and is quite durable over time. We put it up there in terms of durability.

#4. I Love To Create Tulip Permanent Fabric Dye

The “I Love To Create Tulip Permanent Fabric Dye” is another great product when you want permanent solid coverage at an affordable price point. This fabric dye works with natural fabrics as well as polyester and cotton. It is NOT recommended for pure polyester, acrylic, nylon, and fabric with special finishes.

One of the things that is preventing us from putting it higher on our list is the fact that there are just not that many colors to pick from. And the colors are just not as vibrant as the other brands. However, the trade-off is that this fabric dye gives you incredible continuous coverage and is probably the easiest to apply and work with without making a complete mess.

#5.Tintex Powder, Easy Fabric Dye

Lastly, we have the Tintex Powder, which is an incredibly easy fabric dye to use and just involves a one-step process to completion. The great thing is that it does not require pre-dissolving. Although the colors that it offers is pretty solid, we just wish that there are more colors to pick from. In our opinion, the grey color is really nice and is the perfect shade of grey.

Another thing to note is that the color is pretty bright and long-lasting. It may not have the durability of Dylon or Rit DyMore, but it definitely holds its own weight really well. If you have already tried most or all of the products we recommend above and are still not completely satisfied, we strongly urge you to give the Tintex a try.
