#3.Old Fiddler Violin String Set

The Old Fiddler Line Violin String Set is some of the best fiddle strings if are not really happy with your Dominant strings sound and want a change up and a better “fiddle” sound. Overall, we think these strings sound pretty amazing and you definitely get a nice warm tone. It was definitely a warmer tone than we were expecting, so keep that in mind as well.

Also, they install quite easily and are pretty much good from day one without breaking them in too much. They also stay tuned from the get-go which is nice. Just keep in mind that these are steel strings rather than synthetic core strings and a great call if you are going for that fiddle sound.

#4.Irin Instruments Violin/Fiddle Strings

The Irin Instruments Violin/Fiddle Strings are a decent full set of strings from G, D, A, and E. They are nickel wound with ball ends for violins. While they are not the best quality, they are certainly very cheap and will get the job done. Let’s just say they are acceptable and are great for practicing.

Also, just keep in mind that the E 1st string is stainless steel wire. The other strings are made of a solid steel core with a nickel-silver wound. This helps make a nice warm sound. Finally, each string is individually packed and sealed, which is nice to protect against corrosion and whatnot.
