#1.XPOWER A-2 Airrow Electric Duster
If you want the best electric duster, we highly recommend that you consider the XPower A-2 Airrow. This electric duster represents the best combination of performance, ease of use, durability and price. This duster has around 500 watts of power to blast away dust from just about anything from keyboards, electronics, and appliances. It is also quite lightweight, compact, and easy to use.
Next, we like that it has a powerful yet energy efficient 3/4 HP brush motor, with a low 4.5 amps draw and a 90 CFM airflow. It is good enough for most jobs around the house. The blowing power is pretty good for all intents and purposes and it is made of really high quality ABS plastic, so the housing will never get hot.
#2.Metro Vacuum MDV-1BA Electric Duster
Next up, we have the Metro Vacuum MDV-1BA which is the best electric duster if you want lots of power and also want a unit that doubles as a vacuum. It is a clear upgrade from the Metro Vac ED-500. This is also known as the DataVac Pro and features a powerful, 120 V/ 4.5 amps motor. This motor can easily vacuum and blow and the blowing power is better than the ED-500.
And since it comes in at just 3 pounds, it is fairly lightweight as well and easy to carry it around to where you need. You can also easily weasel it into small spaces which is always nice to know. The construction is also pretty premium and it definitely doesn’t feel like something that’s going to break anytime soon. If you have the money, we think you should go with this.
#3.Dealsboom Handheld Electric Duster
Another great choice when it comes to the best electric duster is the Dealsboom Handheld Electric Duster. The Dealsboom does a decent job blowing as well as being a vacuum. Please keep in mind that it runs on a lithium ion battery that can be recharged via a USB port. It will fast charge in around 4 hours and last for up to 50 minutes of continuous use on low speeds.
The little 35W super motor is not the strongest in the world, but it does blow a decent amount of pressure. The main advantage to this duster is that it is very portable and lightweight. It is clearly not as powerful as the previous two recommended electric dusters, but it definitely is way more convenient to use for small tasks.
#4.X-Power A5 Electric Duster
The X-Power A5 Electric Duster is a great multi-purpose electric dryer that also doubles as a vacuum. It features a powerful 2 HP motor with 2 speed settings. Compared to the X-Power A2, the A5 is clearly stronger and offers a stronger blower and vacuum. If you are in the need of this power, you should definitely look for the upgrade.
But for the most part, the X-Power A5 is a bit of an overkill and is realy only needed for auto detailing and drying. For general purpose use, the A2 is good enough. There are always people who are going to want the absolute best in performance, and so the A5 is comparable to the DataVac Pro in that regards.
#5.Metro Vacuum ED500P Electric Duster
Lastly, we have the Metro Vacuum ED500P, which is a pretty standard electric duster that is comparable to the XPower A-2. It features an all steel construction and a 500 Watt/0.75 HP motor. This electric duster is clearly more effective than canned air, but in our opinion as little less effective than the Xpower A-2. The main culprit is that the housing just gets too hot with the steel construction.
And because it tends to get hot, it also somehow effects its performance and just doesn’t seem to be as strong and powerful as the XPower A-2. But nevertheless, we think it is worth trying if you find the XPower A-2 just not working out. The ED500 is definitely its direct competitor.
