It features padding in all the right places and a TPU shin plate and calf plate design that gives your feet plenty of protection while managing to not really add too much weight. Sure it is a little harder to slide into these boots and they do feel a bit more heavy-duty than most average commuter motorcycle boots, but it also offers more protection.
