Best Tall Riding Boots

#1.Stuart Weitzman Tall Riding Boot

If you are interested in the best tall riding boots, we highly recommend that you try out the Stuart Weitzman Tall Riding Boot. This is definitely a nice fashion statement while maintaining plenty of functionality. It is a very lightweight boot, has great traction, and gives your legs plenty of protection without feeling cramped.

The price is a little steep, which is probably the only real weakness here and we do feel like you are overpaying a bit just for the brand name. But you tend to do that with most hyped brands anyways.

Best Tall Riding Boots

#1.Stuart Weitzman Tall Riding Boot

For those who are interested in the best tall riding boots, the Stuart Weitzman Tall Riding Boot is definitely an industry classic. This tall riding boot has a shaft that measures 21.5 inches from the arch. If that is not tall enough for you then we don’t know what is. Stuart Weitzman is clearly a top-name brand in the fashion world and has unrivaled reliability, durability, and comfort.

We like these boots because they are very tall and are super comfortable to wear. They don’t feel like battle armor and yet give you adequate protection throughout your legs. The leather quality is pretty good, but obviously, there is better out there. The main thing that pops out here is really the design and of course the brand name.

#2.Frye Dorado Lug Tall Riding Boot

Next up, we have the Frye Dorado Lug Tall Riding Boot, which is the best tall riding boot for those who have plenty of money to spend and really just want high quality. Fyre is obviously a very nice brand name that has been in this industry for a very long time. This is an imported boot made with 100% genuine leather with a leather and synthetic sole.

The shaft is around 19 inches, which is long enough to be considered a tall riding boot. And it gives you plenty of traction and grip on in outsole. We really like it because it is just a gorgeous boot and it just breathes quality all around. It is extremely comfortable and looks really expensive. And that’s because it is quite expensive.

#3.ARIAT V Sport Zip Tall Riding Boot

Another great option when it comes to the best tall riding boots is the Ariat V Sport Zip. This is an 18-inch boot which we would consider great for tall people. It has a full leather lining and is made of full-grain leather. We really like that it has this stretch lining that makes it a very moldable fit. The leather will stretch into the contours of your feet.

Yes, it does take a little while to fully break-in, but we think that it is totally worth it. And best of all, the Ariat boot is designed with performance and riding in mind first. The boots we recommended above are more lifestyle boots first, but we think the Ariat is definitely more of a performance-oriented tall riding boot.

#4.Cole Haan Women’s Avalon Tall Riding Boot

Cole Haan is another brand that we all know and love. They are pretty reliable and known for making quality shoes that last. The Avalon Tall Riding boot is no exception. It is made of leather and suede and has this really nice suede stretch panel that makes it much more comfortable than traditional leather. It doesn’t really need to be broken in and feels comfortable initially.

We like the three buckles on the side, which definitely serve as more of a style thing than actually being practical. Of course, you can use it to tighten it around your calves, if you want a snug fit. The only real annoying thing is that there is no zipper on this boot, so it is always kind of a struggle to get it on and off. But luckily the stretchy suede helps a bit.

#5.EquiStar Rubber Tall Riding Black Boots

Lastly, we have the EquiStar Rubber Tall Riding Black Boots, which is certainly a great option if you are on an extreme budget and just need something that works. This tall boot is made of rubber, so it is naturally pretty waterproof and can take a beating. Although the quality is not anywhere close to a leather boot, it is entirely functional.

The rubber is actually quite flexible and stretchy and doesn’t feel restricted at all. It takes a little break in time even for rubber, but for the most part, it works for most people. And yes, it’s a bit hard to get on, but the price is just so cheap that we can overlook most inconveniences. This is the perfect beater-tall riding boot.
