#1.BelOMO 10x Triplet Loupe Magnifier
If you are looking for the best 10x loupe, we highly recommend the BelOMO 10x Triplet Loupe Magnifier. In terms of specs, it has a lage size of .85 inches and viewing area of .67 inches, which is pretty large. We definitely think that the standout feature of the BelOMO is the fact that it has amazing clarity, giving you a precise image quality and true color.
This is mostly due to the fact that there are three lens on this loupe. You have an achromatic, colour correction, antireflection lenses, although we would have liked to see an apochromatic lens. Overall, this is a very good quality 10x loupe that will get the job done for most people. The clarity and wide viewing angle more than makes up for the quality.
#2.Bausch & Lomb Watchmaker Loupe, 10x
Next, we have the Bausch & Lomb Watchmaker Loupe, which is the best 10x loupe in our opinion if you want a great little magnifier from a reputable company without any gimmicks. There is not much to this loupe other than the quality glass and a plastic that houses it. It has a 10x zoom and a focal length of 25mm. And it’s pretty durable as well as it is hard to scratch up.
If you don’t know already, Bausch & Lomb is a global company that makes mostly contacts and lens solution. They have lots of resources and won’t be cutting any corners in terms of quality. Although it is definitely pretty clear and easy to focus, the downside is precisely the fact that there is nothing else to it. It doesn’t have lights and no way to change the magnification.
#3.Nikon 10x Jewelry Triplet Loupe
Another great 10x loupe to consider is the one from Nikon. This is the best 10x loupe in our opinion if you are looking for premium glass and are willing to pay up for it. Nikon is a huge name in the camera business, so they kind of have a pretty good authority on making quality lenses and glass. The Nikon 10x loupe is no different and you are paying for the quality.
This coated lens deliver a true crisp and clear image that is absolutely true to color. It lets you focus on the smallest details and has a very flexible range of focus. This means that finding the sweet spot on this Nikon is just much simplier than in other models where you have to dig around and experiment with different distances from the object.
#4.Ade Advanced Optics 10x Loupe
Next on our list, we highly recommend the Ade Advanced Optics 10x Loupe. This is a triple glass lens loupe with a decent quality leather pouch for easy carrying. The lens itself rotates around a metal hinge, which has some nice resistance to it and holds it firmly in place when rotated out. You can tuck it back in behind the guard when you are done with it.
Additionally, we really like the triplet lenses and think that they are quite clear for most people. They are also designed to give you a pretty true color which we think is pretty spot on. Also, we just want to say that we really like the field of view, as it is definitely wider than the average 10x loupe that we tried. Overall, not bad, but not nearly as good as our top 3.
#5.PEAK TS1983 Full Focus Scale Loupe, 10X
Lastly, the PEAK TS1983 is a pretty good 10x loupe if you are looking for a full focus scale loupe with a 1.1 inch field of view and 0.8 inch lens diameter. The good part about the loupe is that it provides crystal clear extremely high quality images even in low light situations. This is the sign of a great lens in our opinion.
We also like the fact that you can unscrew the reticle to get a totally unobstructed view. And we like the fact that it is fully coated for a color corrected flat field viewing. Overall, we would say if you need high precision optical quality, go with this or the Nikon loupe. But just be prepared to pay up as they are quite pricey compared to other brands.
