First and foremost, it is made of imported Russian pine wood and is coated with a nice varnish that protects it from fading over time. We wish this just lasted forever, but obviously, it does still fade a bit.
The quality is decent enough and it supports more than enough weight for the hammock to load up with a bunch of “large” people. But the main thing is that it just doesn’t quite have that pop finish. The other brands we recommend above definitely have this pop-out-looking finish and look more stylish. If you are concerned about functionality, you should have no worries here.
