We know we said that the Medeco deadbolt mentioned above was pretty heavy-duty, but the Mul-t-lock is even more industrial and unbreakable.
This is a grade 1 high-quality deadbolt and is completely built like a tank and operates smoothly. Take everything we said about the Medeco and multiply by two and that’s the Mul-t-lock for you. The real dilemma you have to ask is if it is really worth it. The answer is probably not since it is definitely more costly than the Medeco and do you really need that much security? Some people do.

#3. Schlage B660P High Security Deadbolt
Another great option when it comes to the best high security deadbolt is the Schlage B660P High-Security Deadbolt. It is made of satin nickel and is a single-cylinder deadbolt. In our opinion, we think that it splits the difference between the previously mentioned brands. While it is not as expensive as the Mul-t-lock it is priced a bit more than Medeco.
In terms of quality, we think that it is slightly better than that Medeco and clearly worse than the Mul-t-lock. Like all of them, the Schlage is also hard to pick and hard to replicate the keys. You have to kind of ask yourself if it is worth upgrading a bit from the Medeco mentioned above. Some people want that extra bit of durability and quality.

The Yale Assure YRD226 is a nice high security touchscreen deadbolt that is made of polished brass and even includes an Amazon Cloud Cam in the set. We like it and think that it stands out amongst the sea of competition because it is simply keyless. This means that you don’t have to worry about losing keys, getting them replaced, and whatnot.
It is also convenient for guests so that you can share the passcode and let them in without you being present. And it also works with Alexa, which is always a nice bonus. And it goes without saying that it is incredibly high security and it is hard to tamper with it. Don’t think it is easy to hack into just because it is an electronic lock.

#5. Mul-T-Lock Interactive High Security Lock
Lastly, we have other Mul-T-Lock products that we really like and what to recommend to you. This one is their entry-level high-security deadbolt and it is great for those on a budget. This is a grade 2 single-cylinder deadbolt that is fairly good at being tamper-proof. But just don’t compare it with the Mul-T-Lock product that we mentioned above because you will definitely be disappointed.
And because it has both inner and outer pins, the Mul-T-Lock is much less prone to bump key attacks. Also, we think it does a pretty good job of holding up to a forced entry. Although this of course also depends on the quality of your door. Nevertheless, the quality and craftsmanship of this deadbolt will be heaps better than anything you pick up at Home Depot.
