First and foremost, we want to say that we just love Elmer’s brand and have been using their products ever since we were all infants. If it has been around for this long, surely they are doing something right.
We really like this glue because it forms a clear strong bond with porcelain surfaces that other glues just really can’t rival. It sets in just about one minute and you can easily wipe off the excess. This also gives you plenty of time to rearrange the porcelain pieces and realign if needed before it sets. It is not an instant bond so you do have a bit of time.

The most noticeable quality of this super glue is that it is pretty much instant setting at around 10-30 seconds.
You don’t have much time to rearrange pieces once you apply them, but equally, you don’t have to sit around and wait for it to settle before moving on to the next part. The hold is towards the top end of super glues and the durability is definitely pretty amazing. It does ok underwater, but definitely not the best. There are better glues out there that are waterproof.

#5. 3M Ceramic Porcelain Adhesive
Finally, we have 3M Ceramic Porcelain Adhesive, which makes our list because it is 3M, a very well-known company in this industry that anyone can really vouch for. Although it is made for ceramic, porcelain is close enough and definitely works just as well. This glue dries clear in about 5 minutes and obviously has a very nice strong and flexible bond.
We would say that the bond is strong but not nearly as strong as these two-part epoxies and even some super glue like the Gorilla Glue. The reason we like it is because of the flexibility. It definitely does not create a stiff hard bond and actually gives your porcelain some breathing room. It is also dishwasher safe, which is a nice plus.
