#1.Source Audio Soundblox 2 Modulator
The Source Audio Soundblox 2 is the best modulation pedal if you want a plethora of functions in one pedal. It offers plenty of common effects and modulations along with various parameters for each. In terms of sound effects, you have 3 choruses, 3 flangers, 2 resonator flangers, 5 phasers, and tremolo along with 9 parameters for each.
As for modulation sources, you have 6 unique types: LFO sin wave, LFO square, envelope follower, expression pedal, Midi, and envelope follower. Additionally, there are two presets that can be switched and recalled via a footswitch. This pedal also comes with a 9V power supply.

#2.Donner Guitar Modulation Pedal
We think the Donner Guitar Modulation Pedal is great if you want a nice, cheap, mod pedal. It features a digital circuit design and a true bypass with a transparent tone. We like the fact that the pedal is affordable yet extremely durable. It is made with whole aluminum alloy and doesn’t break easily.
In terms of mod effects, there are 7: two chorus, a phaser, rotary, tremolo, vibrato, and flanger. Also, there are 3 function knobs: level, depth, and rate that can be used to tweak the parameters. All in all, this pedal is nice and simple to use and sounds great on all effects. You can definitely create some wild sounds with the Donner Guitar Mod Pedal.

#3. Eventide ModFactor Modulation Pedal
The Eventide ModFactor is the mother of all mod pedals if you have the funds to buy it. It is quite pricy but is able to produce pretty much every effect you will ever want. This pedal features all of Eventide’s best effects in one pedal. It also has a USB input so you can download software updates in the future.
This mod pedal includes 10 mod effects that are available in mono or stereo: These include flanger, chorus, undulator, vibrato, mod filter, phaser, poly-mod, tremolo, Pan, q-wah, mod filter, and ring mod. Also, we really like the fact that you have continuous control over all parameters by using a MIDI signal, an external footswitch, or an expression pedal.

#4.Valeton CME-1 Coral Digital Modulation Pedal
We like the Valeton CME Coral Digital Mod Pedal because it has 16 types of digital modulation in one compact box. It also features a heavy-duty metal footswitch and LED indicator. Also, there is a true bypass and aluminum alloy diecast housing, which is pretty durable overall and lasts on the road.
Besides the 16 mod effects (flanger, chorus, echo, etc), you also have 3 different parameters to adjust each mod effect. These are mix, mod, and rate. Unfortunately, it operates with a 9V power supply that is not included.

#5.NUX MOD Core DELUXE
We really like the Nux Mod Core Deluxe because it sounds really close to analog distortion and analog mod effects. It features 8 adjustable modulation effects. Perhaps one of the more noteworthy features is the stereo input and output jack which offers you more flexibility.
Besides the 8 mod effects, we like that you can upgrade the tone bank via the USB to your computer. Also, there is a 3-way toggle switch to change between deluxe, tone lock, and normal modes. We like the tone lock feature, which is there to avoid improper operation. Finally, it features true stereo signal processing.
