We really like the Jasco Varnish Remover because it is specially formulated for antiques and fine furniture. It is the best varnish remover on the market if you are looking for performance. We like that it is safe to use on all wood surfaces and it pulls red and brown wood stains off like none other.
This is a semi-paste that does a good job of clinging to vertical surfaces. It works for a long time and wipes off clean. Besides removing varnish, it also removes lacquer and shellac. This is definitely a hidden gem and we highly recommend it for those looking for an easy-to-use and powerful varnish remover.

We really like the CitriStrip Varnish Remover because it is a great all-purpose varnish remover that smells quite nice and is biodegradable. This product is very safe to use indoors and does not create any harsh fumes like some of its competitors.
