#1.Bach Trumpet Mouthpiece 3C
The Bach Standard Series is definitely the best trumpet mouthpiece for professional players to intermediates who want to further hone their skills. This mouthpiece brand is world-renowned and basically an industry leader.
It is very versatile, plays consistently, and has a great range and tone. The only thing is that it is a bit on the pricy end of mouthpieces, which is still just a rounding error compared to how much you pay for the trumpet.

#1.Bach Trumpet Mouthpiece 3C
The Bach Standard Series Mouthpiece is definitely at the top of its class in the music world. This is definitely the best trumpet mouthpiece for intermediate to advanced players. This particular 3C trumpet mouthpiece has a medium cup depth and a 16.3mm cup diameter. Additionally, it has a medium-wide rim shape.
We would say the standout feature of this mouthpiece is that it has a great range and a superior tone quality that other mouthpieces simply can’t beat. This mouthpiece is consistent and great for mouths of all shapes. Also, it is great for classical or jazz.

#2.Blessing MPC5CTR Trumpet Mouthpiece, 5C
If you are looking for the best trumpet mouthpiece, the Blessing MPC5CTR certainly won’t disappoint you. First and foremost, we should mention that the company has been around the industry for over a century. So in terms of musical quality, Blessing definitely knows what they are doing. We like this mouthpiece because it is both comfortable and long-lasting.
We are pretty impressed with the durability of this trumpet mouthpiece. We found that cheaper mouthpieces fall apart and chip away easily, while the Blessing MPC5CTR remains intact over the course of time. We think this 5C mouthpiece is almost on par with Bach mouthpieces, but they are also cheaper. So in terms of price to value, the Blessing mouthpiece is a clear winner.

#3.Glory Silver Plated Bb Trumpet Mouthpiece, 5c
Glory makes a great set of cheap trumpet mouthpieces that also have tolerable quality. If you want dirt cheap, this is the best trumpet mouthpiece for you. Glory manufactures 3C, 5C, and 7C mouthpieces so pick one of your liking.
We can’t really say that the quality is on par with Bach or even Blessing mouthpieces, but what we can say is that they work decently to the point where beginners won’t be able to tell the difference. The sound and playability are pretty good and if you are not a pro, you probably won’t even be able to tell. So you can drop top dollar on a Bach or try this out first.

#4.Like-It Trumpet Mouthpiece Set
We think the Like-It Trumpet Mouthpiece Bb and C Key Set is the best trumpet mouthpiece if you want a full set with interchangeable cup and rim sizes. This particular set comes with 1 silver shank, 2 head replacements, and 4 cup sizes. Everything is also nicely stored in a carrying box and organized properly.
For the number of mouthpieces you are getting with this set, we think the price is pretty good. Overall, in terms of clarity, tone, and range, it is not the best quality but we definitely put it a notch above most of the other trumpet mouthpieces we tested.

#5.Mutec Black Plastic Trumpet Mouthpiece
We had to put a plastic mouthpiece on our list for those who are either allergic to metal or don’t like the look or feel of a metal trumpet mouthpiece. Also, they don’t conduct heat or cold, so good for outdoors. The Mutec Black Plastic Trumpet Mouthpiece is the perfect answer for those looking to deliver the same performance as the brass or silver plated mouthpieces.
On a side-to-side comparison, we couldn’t even notice a difference in quality between the plastic and brass of the same brand. Finally, just note that the plastic material actually makes it less tiring over time to play and will actually increase your endurance.
