Best Euphonium Mouthpiece

#1.Denis Wick Euphonium Mouthpiece

There is absolutely no question the Denis Wick Mouthpiece is the best euphonium mouthpiece in the industry. It really is designed specifically for euphonium nerds. While other mouthpieces are designed for a series of brass instruments like the trombone and euphonium, the Denis Wick hones in on the euphonium specifically.

The result is basically superior sound quality. It produces a warm tone with good upper register support. Also, it helps that it looks and feels incredible and a step above the competition. If you want the absolute best quality and are willing to pay top dollar, then the Denis Wick series is definitely for you.

#2.Yamaha Mouthpiece for Euphonium – 51D

If you are an advanced player who wants a dark heavy rich tone, the Yamaha 51D is probably the best euphonium mouthpiece for you. And you can’t really go wrong with Yamaha. They have the best quality control and each mouthpiece they produce is consistent with a great finishing.

This mouthpiece is great for baritone players who want to improve their game. It is a tough mouthpiece is play with so we don’t really recommend it for beginners. Finally, just note that this is Yamaha, so the price is not so cheap but it also won’t break the bank.

#5.Cecilio Standard Euphonium Mouthpiece

This silver-plated mouthpiece by Cecilio is a great alternative to expensive brands such as Bach or Yamaha. This particular mouthpiece is pretty standard and we would put its quality on par with Glory, which is sort of a value brand in this industry.

The Cecilio Euphonium Mouthpiece really shines in its ability to deliver consistent tones throughout a wide range. Sure there are better mouthpieces out there, but it is hard to justify the price for those sometimes. With Cecilio, it is cheap enough to try to out as a tester.
