#1.Layerneer Glue For PLA

When it comes to the best glue for PLA, we highly recommend that you go with the Layerneer Glue For PLA. This stuff is specifically formulated to work with PLA plastic and filaments. First and foremost, we think that this glue bonds PLA extremely well and contains a thermal dynamic coating that makes parts stick hot and release cool. It also does a fairly good job of preventing warping.

We also like it because it is quite long-lasting and you can print it several times on a single coat. And it is quite a low odor as there are no harsh fumes or chemicals. You can easily touch it up and remove it with water if needed. Also, the built-in foam applicator tip makes it absolutely seamless to apply without spilling.

#2.FYSETC Glue Adhesive For PLA

Another really great product when it comes to the best glue for PLA is the FYSETC Glue Adhesive For PLA. This glue is made specifically for PLA filaments and is quite long-lasting. We like it specifically because of its above-average durability, which makes it last for over 100 average prints. It will do a really good job of helping your 3D print parts stick to the build plate.

Also, it is nice to know that this glue will make a perfect first layer and has quite a strong adhesion to the hot plate. It is easy to apply, easy to clean, and really easy to release. They also tend to go a long way and these glue sticks will work for hundreds of prints. Overall these glue sticks are high quality and definitely of great value.

#3.Magigoo Pen – All-in-One 3D Print Adhesive

Next up, we highly recommend that you try out the Magipoo Pen, which is the best glue for PLA if you are looking for a nice all-in-one glue designed for 3D printing. This is a multi-material glue so it works great for commonly used plastic filaments such as PLA, ABS, HIPS, and PET-G. Durability is pretty good as well, but not as good as the FYSETC mentioned above.

You can still squeeze out over 100 prints with one glue stick. This glue also has an easy release and releases the 3D print once the build plate has cooled. Finally, the application is pretty much seamless as all you need to really do is to give it a good shake and just press the nib against the build plate and spread it evenly.

#4.Airwolf 3D Print WolfBite PLA Glue

The Airwolf Wolfbite is a PLA-specific glue that is a bit lesser known in this industry but we believe that we definitely found a hidden gem. You just apply it with a polyurethane foam brush directly onto the build plate. This brush makes it really easy to get nice light and evenly distributed smooth layer that can get in several dozen prints.

It promotes amazing adhesion and also makes the removal of printed parts extremely easy. And of course, it bonds PLA to the build plate without warping, which is what a proper glue should do. Finally, we just want to say that it is nontoxic and doesn’t have any odor, which we can’t say about many of the other glues out there.

#5.Filabond – 3D Printing Adhesive

Lastly, we have the Filabond 3D Printing Adhesive which is a pretty cost-efficient alternative to glue sticks as a PLA adhesive and arguably even easier to maintain and apply. For starters, this one bottle will give you 1400 prints which are way more than any glue stick will give you. It also cleans quite easily with just hot water and a scrub pad.

Also, one of the things we really like about the Filabond is that if you leave it on the printing surface, it will not dry like the glue sticks we mentioned above. So you can just leave it on your printing bed and just come back much later and continue printing without having to apply the glue again. This is definitely a win for convenience.
