When it comes to the best embroidery needle, we have to give it to the Dritz Ribbon Embroidery Needles. There are 14 needles that come in this pack and they are a great assortment of needles. These needles are optimized to be used for ribbon embroidery on fabric or canvas. They are pretty sharp and really have a nice punch to them, allowing you to easily penetrate the fabric.

In terms of actual contents, this pack contains three sizes 18 and three sizes 20 needles, which are really useful for ribbon embroidery. You also get a skinny needle for beading. #2.DMC 1765-1/5 Embroidery Hand Needles

Next up, we have the DMC Embroidery Hand Needles, which are the best embroidery needles for those who want a nice set of premium-grade nickel-plated steel needles. So this set is great if you like long thin needles with a narrow eye. This allows you to easily slip through the smallest of beads. This extra length also lets several beads to be strung at one time.

We also like that there are needles of different sizes and each one of them is pretty good quality. While we don’t think the quality is on par with Dritz, it is still pretty good. The advantage that this set has over the Dritz is the fact that it seems sharper and easier to thread. Although the durability is not as good as the Dritz, it seems easier to use.

#3.Organ Brother 75/11 Embroidery Needles

The Organ Brother Embroidery Needles is the best embroidery needle for those who use machine embroidery a lot and do occasional sewing. These are versatile all-purpose 75/11 sizes with flat back shanks. First and foremost, the Organ Brother brand has been around in the industry for a long time, and definitely know a thing or two about what they are doing. They make quality embroidery needles that are accurate.

We like that these needles have a larger eye than other needles as well as a longer and larger thread channel along the needle. This ensures that there are fewer snags and thread breakages. All in all, we think that these are very good embroidery needles that have some very nice durability. They are easy to install and have no breakage or fraying of thread.

#4. BCP 20pcs Embroidery Hand Needles

Another great product that makes our top 5 list is the BCP Embroidery Hand Needles, which is a nice set with very sharp pointed needles that are smooth to use. While these needles don’t have all the pretty packaging of other brands, we think that their quality is just as good. They are sharp and stay sharper for much longer than most brands, including the Dritz.

We find them pretty easy to use as well and quite easy to thread. Unfortunately, we did have some trouble cross-stitching with them, and a bit hard to thread using the sewing method. The good part is that they are durable and definitely work smoothly if you are using the in-and-out method. Also, they come in nice carrying bottles.

#5.Schmetz Gold Titanium Embroidery Needles

The last item on our top 5 list is the Schmetz Gold Titanium Embroidery Needles, which feature slightly rounded points for embroidery on most fabrics. These are mostly used on sewing and embroidery machines. So we would view these needles as a direct competitor of the Organ Needles and highly recommend for the Brother se400.

The standout feature of these needles is that they are gold titanium coated, so they are definitely really strong and should last for quite a while. While we still think that the Organ Brother needles are more accurate and easier to work with, the Schmetz brand definitely has its beat on durability.
