#3.Glory Clarinet Mouthpiece Kit
If you are looking for the best clarinet mouthpiece that is incredibly cheap, the Glory series is definitely the way to go. This is a great beginner mouthpiece or nice for a backup. While we can’t say this mouthpiece has the best quality or the best tones, what we can say is that it is priced dirt cheap for the quality you are getting.
It’s probably about 70% the quality of top-end clarinet mouthpieces at 90% off the retail prices of those expensive mouthpieces. So you do the math and figure out whether or not it is worth it to you to get this. We can safely say that if you are new to the clarinet, this is the right mouthpiece for you.

#4.Selmer Goldentone #3 Bb Clarinet Mouthpiece
The Selmer Goldentone is another budget clarinet mouthpiece that made our list. While we like the Glory series as our top-budget clarinet mouthpiece, the Selmer has some advantages as well. First and foremost, we really like the balanced response, focused tone, and accurate pitch, which is wonderful for beginners to learn.
It is safe to say that it is a bit more powerful, brighter, and more efficient than the Glory. However, the Glory definitely has better construction and an overall better tone over a wide range. So it is kind of a toss-up for the best budget clarinet mouthpiece. We suggest you get both as a beginner and figure out which one you end up liking more over time.

#5.American Plating Bass Clarinet Mouthpiece Kit
We think the American Plating Company makes some nice clarinet mouthpieces. It is a step above the low-end budget mouthpieces but clearly a step below the top-end stuff. If you are looking for a mid-grade clarinet mouthpiece in terms of quality and performance, this is probably the one to get.
It is designed for beginners and intermediate players. We think its best feature is that it is incredibly easy to play on. We can’t say the same about other mouthpieces we tried. Overall, this clarinet mouthpiece produces a great tone over a wide range and has pretty decent clarity and brightness.
