Best CB Coax Cable

#1.CablesOnline 50ft Rg8x Coax UHF Male/Male

If you want the best cb coax cable, we highly recommend the CablesOnline 50-foot Rg8x cable. This is the more advanced model and is definitely not one of those Chinese junk cables. It is sturdy, made of durable material, and will outlast most of the other cb coax cables on the market. And for the length, it is a very good price.

#1.CablesOnline 50ft Rg8x Coax UHF Male/Male

When it comes to the best cb coax cable, we really like the CablesOnline Rg8x cable. This is a 50 ft male-to-male with nickel-plated connectors and works perfectly with ham radio and CB. The Rg8x is a clear upgrade from the standard RG-58 coaxial and we recommend it for high-powered applications and for those who want the best possible equipment you can get.

Perhaps the stand-out feature is the fact that it is a shielded 50-ohm cable with molded-on PL-259 plugs on each end. And at 50 ft, you have more than enough distance for almost all situations. And finally, we really like that the cable itself is made of copper conductors and that all the connections inside are soldered. So basically the cable itself is well constructed.

#2.Truckspec 18′ RG-58A/U Coaxial Cable

Next, we have the Truckspec 18-foot RG-58A/U Coaxial Cable, which is the best CB coax cable if you want to use it with a single CB antenna SO-239 with stud mounts. It is nice and cheap and short in length. One of the standout features is that it has advanced molded PL-259 connectors, which gives it plenty of moisture protection, more so than the average coaxial cable.

Additionally, another positive is that it has a 95 percent shielding coverage, which gives it protection from RF leaks and interference. There is also a stranded center conductor for added flexibility. Overall, we would say that this cable isn’t ultra top end nor is it complete garbage. It is not as effective of a shield as high-end cables but it’s good enough for most applications.

#3.Workman 100 ft RG8X COAX CABLE for CB

For those looking for distance, the Workman 100-foot RG8X Coax Cable is the best CB coax cable for your needs. It also has a 95% copper braid shield with soldered PL-259 on each end. In general, we find the Workman to be a very good bang for the buck. It is a well-shielded low-loss coaxial cable that is 100 feet long. It is hard to find this quality and length at a good price.

And now for the negatives. The connectors themselves don’t really screw down well enough. The way it is structured prevents the outer sleeve of the PL-259 from screwing down far enough onto the SO239. This can be fixed by installing new connectors or just putting up with this minor annoyance. Other than that, everything else is rock solid and that’s why we are recommending it.

#4.RoadPro RP-8X18CL 18′ Clear CB

Another product that we think is a great performer with very good quality parts is the RoadPro RP-8X18CL 18-foot cb coax cable. RoadPro has built a very reputable name for itself in the electronics world. This is a low-loss signal cable that is designed to be used with single CB antenna SO-239 stud mounts. All in all, we find the shielding to be very good and the construction is solid with top-notch materials.

Perhaps our favorite feature is just how versatile and portable it is. It is rugged and heavy-duty enough for outside use and flexible enough to roll up and place in a bag to be used elsewhere. We think many people underestimate this convenience factor, but once we found out exactly how well it actually folds up, we were hooked.

#5.TruckSpec TS-3CC 3′ CB Antenna Coax Cable

Lastly, we have the TruckSpec TS-3CC 3-foot CB Coax Cable. This is a great little cable if you want portability, as it is only 3 feet long and can be easily transported to any place. Overall, we find this to be a very rugged little cable with 95% shielding coverage, which gives you protection from RF leaks and interference.

While it is not the best shielding cable out there, we think it more than certainly gets the job done in most applications, which is really what people are looking for. Most other top-end cables are overkill. And you definitely can’t complain or beat that price for what it is worth. If you are looking for a shorter coax cable for cb, look no further.
