#1. Grow More 5270 Premium Orchid Food
For those who are looking for the best orchid fertilizer, the Grow More 5270 is the way to go. This is a urea-free premium orchid food that comes in a 20-10-20 formulation. We have tried out many different fertilizers and this one just seems to work the most effectively. It works really well under a variety of weather conditions and temperatures and gives your orchids plenty of N.
Grow More actually produces a few more variations of this fertilizer specifically designed for orchids, so you should have a look at those if you want in the link below. There is just something with the Grow More brand that just makes it work so much better than the other brands and results in little to no orchids dying. It is very safe to use and stores for a long time.

#2.Schultz Water Soluble Orchid Food
Next up, we have the Schultz Water Soluble Orchid Food, which is the best orchid fertilizer for those who want to grow brighter and healthier orchids. It is both fast-acting and water-soluble. This is a 20-20-15 fertilizer that feeds all types of orchids. In terms of efficacy, we put it on par with Grow More, although Grow More has a slight advantage.
We really like the value of this orchid fertilizer as it comes in a concentrated formula that can be diluted and used for a long time. It goes without saying that it contains just the right amount of micronutrients and will do wonders for your orchids. Just make sure to properly follow instructions when diluting.

#3.GS Plant Food Orchid Love Fertilizer
Another really nice option when it comes to the best orchid fertilizer is the GS Plant Food Orchid. This stuff makes it really easy to re-bloom multiple times throughout the lifespan. Although it doesn’t have the best-looking label, rest assured that we have taken the time to go through the quality and talk to people who have actually used it extensively.
All in all, this stuff works really well in creating a nice healthy root system. This in turn will make your leaves thick and green which also results in lush flowers. We don’t know exactly what is in the mix but we know it works quite well. More importantly, it consists of all-natural ingredients such as kelp, liquid fish, plant and rooting hormones, and natural sugars.

#4. J R Peters Orchid Special Fertilizer
The JR Peters Orchid Special Fertilizer is an industry classic that contains extra nitrogen for accelerated orchid growth. This is a 30-10-10 fertilizer that is water soluble and loaded with micronutrients. Let’s just do ahead and make it clear. JR Peters Jack’s Classic is a brand name that is quite popular in the fertilizer industry and they make some really good products.
With that advertising out of the way, let’s talk a little bit about how it performs. We put its efficacy somewhere in between Grow More and Schultz. It is definitely not a miracle product and you will need to carefully take care of the temperature, sun exposure, humidity, and whatnot. If you get all of this down right, you will see some great results.

#5.Sun Bulb Company Orchid Fertilizer
Lastly, we recommend the Sun Bulb Company Orchid Fertilizer. It is a very nice bloom booster fertilizer that has a high amount of phosphorus. In general, we find that this fertilizer does a really good job of enhancing bloom color and maximizing bloom size. This is an 11-35-15 fertilizer that contains no urea nitrogen.
We also like that this fertilizer contains some minor trace elements that can only help with creating a stronger root system. It is just as good if not better than the JR Peters fertilizer we recommended. In the end, many of the fertilizers that we recommend in our list are more or less the same in terms of helping your orchids grow and bloom. It comes down to personal preference and growing conditions.
