#1.E6000 Craft Adhesive For Pottery
For those of you who are looking for the best glue for pottery, the E6000 Craft Adhesive is definitely a nice call. It bonds to a lot of materials but it is especially good for ceramic. So first of all, the real standout feature here is that it has some pretty industrial strength. It forms a permanent bond that is surprisingly flexible and actually quite a temperature resistant.
Also, it is nice to know that once cured, this glue is non-flammable, waterproof, and paintable. It has pretty nice durability and doesn’t will hold its bond for a really long time. Iti s quite easy to work with and gives you enough time before it sets so that you can make adjustments to your work before the bond permanently forms.

#2.Duco Cement Household Glue
Next, we have Duco Cement Household Glue, which is the best glue for pottery if you are looking for a fast-drying cement that dries clear and tough and is great for pottery and ceramic work. We really like how it works for porous and non-porous surfaces equally and is quite easy to apply. It settles quite quickly, so you will definitely have to work fast to align things properly.
One of the setbacks of the Duco brand is that it is pretty flammable, so you should definitely not expose this stuff to extreme heat or it may catch on fire. Overall, we think that the cement is thick enough with low viscosity such that it won’t run all over the place and make a mess when you are applying it or cleaning up.

#3.Pratley Glue For Pottery
Another great product when it comes to the best glue for pottery is the Pratley Glue For Pottery. This is a 2 part epoxy glue that will form an extremely strong bond with ceramic and pottery. It contains two tubes of glue which you have to mix up before applying. The cure time is actually quite long at around 24 to 48 hours, but once it is cured, the bond is permanent and incredibly strong.
The bond strength is even stronger than the above-mentioned two brands, but obviously, you will have to wait a bit to apply it properly. It works way better than 1 part type of glue. However, the trade-off is obivously convenient, as you have to mix things up and wait. Also, it does not take extreme heat very well which is a pity.

#4.Gorilla Micro Precise Super Glue
The Gorilla Micro Precise Super Glue is another nice product that we have put on our top 5 list because it is Gorilla Glue, a well-known brand in this industry. You won’t be able to walk into a retail store without seeing this brand on the walls of the glue section. They are very well known for reliability and just an overall great product.
The thing is, the Gorilla Micro Precise Super Glue isn’t exactly made specifically for pottery like the other brands we mentioned above. However, we just like it so much because it is very precise. And you can’t just get any regular Gorilla Glue. It needs to be the precise applicator tip one, which we find to work really well in arts, crafts, and pottery settings.

#5.Elmer’s Probond Glue For Pottery
Lastly, we have the Elmer’s Probound Glue For Pottery, which makes our list because it is Elmer’s. Who hasn’t used Elmer’s glue in their life? Although the bond isn’t as strong as the above-mentioned brands, this is just a great all-around glue to have around that will bond better than the standard Elmer’s glue.
This glue is waterproof, and non-toxic, along with no foam. Also, it will not make a mess everywhere and applies pretty evenly without getting any sort of expansion. All in all, this is a nice everyday glue to keep around when doing pottery or trying to piece together ceramic. It will not be as strong as the above brands, but it is easy to use and gets the job done.
