Best Frozen Spaghetti

#1. Amy’s Light & Lean, Spaghetti Italiano

For those who want to stay vegetarian or just want a nice plate of microwavable spaghetti, Amy’s Light & Lean is the best frozen spaghetti you will find. This stuff is not just for dieters, it actually tastes hearty and filling. And the meatballs are mostly made of tofu but taste similar to other real meat frozen meatballs we have tried.

Best Frozen Spaghetti

#1. Amy’s Light & Lean, Spaghetti Italiano

We have a lot of respect for Amy’s Light & Lean and think they are one of the top frozen food brands out there that keeps healthy while being very tasty. This frozen pack of spaghetti is actually vegetarian, believe it or not. But it tastes so good you probably wouldn’t even know fi we didn’t tell you.

It is also good to know that it is certified kosher and only has 240 calories per box. The meatballs are made of lentils, quinoa, and tofu and taste pretty darn good for microwave food. Most importantly, the calories-to-taste ratio has been absolutely maximized and we can’t find another recipe that delivers this kind of taste with only 240 calories.

#2. Nestle Stouffers Spaghetti With Meat Sauce

If you want a real spaghetti meal for a frozen TV dinner, Stouffers Spaghetti With Meat Sauce is the best frozen spaghetti in terms of taste. This stuff is the real deal, so it is not for dieters or vegans. It is made for people who want a nice hearty meal with that authentic Italian spaghetti taste.

We like how the spaghetti cooks in the microwave and is not too soft or chewy. It comes out basically al dente and the meat sauce is just phenomenal with hearty chunks of tomatoes and meat. It is nice to know that there are no preservatives in this meal and the pasta is freshly made. Each meal is around 350 calories.

#3. Hormel Compleats Sauces, Spaghetti – Not Frozen

We really like the Hormel Compleats Sauces Spaghetti and Meat Sauce because it is ready in just 60 seconds. It is the fastest meal you can probably make. This is because the product doesn’t need to be refrigerated or even frozen. All you need to do is to keep it at room temperature and heat it in the microwave for 60 seconds.

In terms of taste though, we can’t say it is the best tasting out of all the frozen spaghetti we have tried. What we can say is that tastes pretty darn good for what it’s worth and its convenience. Yes, it is definitely hearty and the sauce is quite thick and artificial. So if you are looking for a more authentic taste, go with Stouffers.

#4. Chef Boyardee Spaghetti Sauce With Meat – Not Frozen

You know, sometimes you just gotta do it. The Chef Boyardee Spaghetti with meatballs is one of those guilty pleasures that everyone must have at some point in their lives. While technically it is not the best frozen spaghetti because it is not frozen at all, we still put it in this category for all pasta and spaghetti that are quick and microwavable.

Chef Boyardee really has a unique taste that you can even smell out in a blind taste test. It won’t taste anything like real spaghetti, but it doesn’t need to be good. If you have never tried it before, be prepared for very soft noodles and a thick rich almost gooey meat sauce that is highly addictive at the right times.

#5.Mountain House – Spaghetti with Meat Sauce

For those who like hiking, camping, or just eating something hot on the road without a stove or a microwave, the Mountain House Spaghetti is definitely the way to go. Since this is freeze-dried food, all you need to do is to add water and everything is cooked for you in this mix.

While this is not as good as saying Stouffers or Amy’s Light and Lean, it is pretty darn tasty for freeze-dried food. The spaghetti is actually cooked quite well with just water. Also, the meat sauce tastes pretty authentic even with the dehydrated meat inside. It can even rival some frozen spaghetti microwavable meals.
