#1.Nelson Plant Food For Plumeria
If you are interested in the best fertilizer for plumeria, we have to give it to the Nelson Plant Food. Nelson makes some pretty good fertilizers and delivers some pretty immediate results. We really like how Nelson has carefully researched this and made sure that it is specifically made for just plumeria. This ensures that you get the best results, and if you kill your plumeria, it’s your fault.
In case you are curious, this fertilizer consists of high amounts of phosphorus and low nitrogen, which is composed of microbial release urea form. There’s also bone meal, iron, and magnesium included. So all in all, we really like this product and think that it is a must-have for anyone growing plumeria and want leafy growth and lush flowers.

#2.EarthPods Flowering Plant For Plumeria and Hibiscus
Another product that makes our list of the best fertilizer for plumeria is the EarthPods Flowering Plant Spikes. This is a really quick and easy way to fertilize your plumeria without having to measure anything. The trade-off is that it is a general-purpose fertilizer that is not specifically made for plumeria. So it will never be as effective as say something like Nelson Plant Food mentioned above.
However, we do really like the fact that it is not messy at all, there’s no runoff, and best of all everything is perfectly measured out. You don’t have to dilute anything or worry about using too much. These fertilizer spikes are really easy to use. All you need to do is to stick them in the soil every 14 days or so and it pretty much does the magic for you.

#3. Grow More 7510 Hawaiian Bud and Bloom
Next up, we have the Grow More 7510, which is the best fertilizer for plumeria if you are looking for a whole lot of phosphorous. This is an instant water-soluble concentrate with chelated micronutrients. This fertilizer feeds through the leaves and roots and is one of the most widely used fertilizers in commercial orchid production. This formula is also urea free and safe to use on all orchids.
And although it is not designed specifically for orchids, it is designed for flowers in the same family, so it is good enough. This stuff pretty much rivals the previous brands we mentioned. Furthermore, you can use this stuff as a starter and transplant solution. It is easy to dilute and application is fairly straightforward. They did a horrible job in labeling the product, but it works great.

#4.Carl Pool 9-58-8 Plumeria Fertilizer
The Carl Pool 9-58-8 Plumeria Fertilizer is a lesser-known fertilizer that we found to work just as well if not better under certain scenarios than the ones we mentioned above. It is made from a secret blend of essential nutrients and minerals that will maximize growth and buds, leading to a more colorful bloom. It is not specifically designed for orchids, but we find it works well.
We actually find this stuff really nice when it comes to supporting nice root growth and development. It is a bit of a hidden gem and really does give your plumeria a kick start. So if you are tired of not seeing any growth or have killed your orchids by overfertilizing, perhaps this stuff is a nice fresh start to help your plumeria grow.

#5.Scotts 110500 Super Bloom Plumeria
Lastly, we have the Scotts Super Bloom Plumeria, which is a huge name brand in this fertilizer industry. This is not made for orchids specifically, but many people can confirm it certainly helps out. Scotts Super Bloom is a 12-55-6 fertilizer that provides such a rich nutrient profile and has a very fast time-release formula that gives you great results.
It is also quite safe and won’t burn your plumeria. It contains 0.10% chelated iron which is nice to create these super blooms, as the name implies. Just keep in mind that you have to feed this every two weeks. So for it to properly work and for you to see good results, you need to stick to a schedule.
