The Roaring Spring Engineering Pad is the best engineering paper for those who want a quality pad for engineering classes and labs. This particular one is smooth green #15 paper. The company also offers engineering pads in different sizes and materials and colors. For us, we like the #15 green paper the best.
This is an 8.5 by 11 pad with 200 sheets. It comes in small squares with 5×5 mini squares inside. This grid pattern shows through to the front sheet. We like the fact that it already is 3-hole punched so that it can be used with standard 3-ring binders. Also, the pad is glued along the top edge.

#2.TOPS Engineering Computation Pad
The TOPS Engineering Pad is the best engineering paper for those who want value. It is margin ruled on the front and graph ruled on the back. They are definitely not the best quality, but in terms of cost and bang for the buck, you can’t go wrong here.
This engineering paper is 3 hole punched so that you can conveniently place them in a three-ring binder. Also, there is glue on the top so you can stick them to a board or wall. Finally, there is a bit of a green tint to the paper so that you can easily figure out the grid lines.

#3.NATIONAL Brand Computation Pad
We like the National Brand Computation Pad because it has a smooth and consistent writing surface. It is one of the best brands out there due to its high quality. This engineering paper sells 100 and 200 sheet pads. We think the 200-sheet pad is a bit too thick and you should stick to the 100-sheet pad.
We like that the grids are on the back of the sheet but you can still see them on the front. They will disappear when you scan or copy them. Overall, the sheets are thin but very strong and durable. They do not rip up easily and maintain their flexibility.

#4.Ampad Engineering Computation Filler Paper
The Ampad Engineering Paper is nice to have for engineers and lab rats of all types. Please keep in mind that this is a filler pad and not a pad. The lines are pretty faint on this engineering paper, but still very much discernable in good lighting.
We highly recommend putting this filler paper in a binder to organize it since it is not a pad. There are holes that punch out conveniently for you already. All in all, you are paying a pretty good price for this product. It is good quality and pretty cheap compared to its competition.

The Orford Engineering Graph Paper is a great pad for organizing your data as an engineer or technician. The square grids are perfectly spaced for you to line things up just right. Please keep in mind that this is not an engineering paper with invisible grid lines on the front. When you make photocopies, the grid lines will show through.
The paper quality is quite good and is thick, sturdy, and very flexible. We also like the fact that you can tear off individual pages with ease. Overall, the size is 8-1/2 by 11 inches with an extra-strong back cover. It also comes in a free folder that can come with other things like pencils.
