It can be used on a variety of materials from plastics to countertops. There is also a hand applicator in this bottle to make your life easier. Finally, we should note that this contact cement is a bit too thick to spread so be quick when you apply it.

#2.Barge All Purpose Cement Quart
The Barge All Purpose Cement is a great product to be used on all materials such as leather, rubber, and vinyl. If you are serious about making things stick, this can is definitely the way to go. Just be careful when applying and don’t get any on yourself.
We think the selling point is that it is both strong and flexible, so it is the best of both worlds. Also, it is pretty waterproof, which is always a plus. Be sure to at least wear some gloves when using this stuff as it is strong. It would be nice to wear a mask as well.

We like the Permatex Contact Cement because it comes in a very easy-to-use tube and makes tough permanent bonds on contact. We like the fact that it is heat and water-resistant and has no clamping required.
This is a adhesive that works on all types of materials from plastics to rubber to glass and metal. Additionally, you don’t really have to worry much about applying it without making a mess everywhere since it comes in an easy-to-use squeeze tube.

#4.Masters Contact Cement
The Master’s Contact Cement is the best contact cement because it is incredibly strong and delivers consistent results. Unfortunately, it is definitely flammable because it contains some pretty potent chemicals. Be sure to use gloves with this product.
This 8 oz can come with an applicator brush and can be used on all sorts of materials like wood, metal, and rubber. Also, it is pretty good for leather and is able to glue several pieces of leather together without them coming apart.

While not technically a contact cement, the 3M Fastbond acts as one for all intents and purposes. This stuff gives you a long bond range with quick bonding. The selling point is that it creates a very high-strength bond with a 4-hour bond range. It is also very resistant to high temperatures, which is always good.
Because of its resistance to high heat, it is ideal for decorative laminate applications where you don’t want things to flame up. It is also water resistant, which is a nice bonus. Finally, the 3M Fastbond is fast acting as the name implies.
