This line is made of 4 strands of ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene fiber. So in other words, it is pretty darn strong. We also like it because it detects light bites due to its high sensitivity rating and zero stretch. You can also easily tie a knot as the string holds up tight.
Like many of the other colored fishing lines we recommend, this one also has pretty low memory and thin diameter, which means it is easier at handling and casting. Furthermore, we think one of the standout features is the fact that the coating tech on this is just far better than that of other brands, which really goes a long way into helping the color fade less.

#3.Berkley FireLine Superline Fishing Line
Another one of our all-time favorites for the best color fishing line is the Berkley FireLine Superline. According to the company, it is the strongest, most abrasion-resistant superline in its class. So we had to put this line to the test and see if it actually held up in rough conditions where fish have teeth. In general, we found that this line can hold up well in rough friction and sharp teeth.
Many people also like it because it is both strong and lightweight. This also means that you get to increase your cast distance and it is good to know that there is very little memory from the spool. All in all, this is one of the finest modern fused lines with great knot integrity and exceptional strength as well as the ability to cast better than most of the lines out there.

#4.Sougayilang Multicolor Fishing Line
In our opinion, the Sougayilang Multicolor Fishing Line is a great option for the more name-branded stuff out there and it is certainly a bit cheaper with just as good quality. We think what separates this fishing line from the rest of the competition is the fact that it has a very long-lasting color process which is noticeably longer than the rest of the brands.
It is also light and resistant to water absorption as well as offers pretty good casting since it has a thinner diameter than most of the other fishing line brands. There are also some pitfalls. The abrasion resistance and overall strength are just not as good as we expected, although it is still pretty solid. But given its price point, these are things we can sort of overlook.

#5.Hercules Colored Braided Fishing Line
Lastly, we have the Hercules Colored Braided Fishing Line, which is one of our favorite value options and gives you a pretty good bang for the buck. It offers the same quality as expensive lines but just costs less. In our opinion, the Hercules is extremely good at casting, given it has an 8x strand braid with a diamond weave structure, which is smoother and rounder for casting much further.
We think casting is where Hercules really shines and it just seems effortless even for an amateur. Of course, having a super thin and slick diameter with very low memory definitely helps. The other metrics like knot strength, abrasion resistance, and overall durability and strength are just about average. But the price is pretty good depending on the color chosen so it can definitely be a win.
