#2.Jobe’s 04102 Rose Fertilizer Spikes
Next, we have Jobe’s Rose Fertilizer Spikes, which are the best rose fertilizer if you are looking for a pre-measured fertilizer that nourishes at the root and is time released. These fertilizer spikes make laying out fertilizer a breeze and eliminate the guessing game. You also tend to avoid the nasty cleanup afterward and there’s no smells or mess overall.
The trade-off is that we just don’t think they work as well as the Espoma RT18, which is clearly better for larger more lush blooms. But if you are lazy, these spikes work as well. Although you won’t get award-winning blooms, it is good enough for most people and it takes all of the dirty work and guessing work away from you.

#3.Bayer Advanced Rose Care
The Bayer Advanced Rose Care is the best rose fertilizer for those who want to go for a name brand that produces very beautiful blooms and promotes strong roots. Bayer Advanced is a well-established brand name in the industry and has a proven track record of sales. We really like the quality control as everything is thoroughly tested before sending out for sale.
What we really like about this formula is that it feeds and protects in one step. So it provides protection against insects as well as rainproof protection. This protection lasts up to 8 weeks, which is a pretty long time compared to most other brands in the industry. It also has a very low failure rate, meaning there’s a very small chance your roses will die.

#4.Miracle Grow Shake N Feed Rose Plant Food
Miracle Grow Shake N Feed is yet another well-established brand in the rose fertilizer industry and we think they make a really easy-to-use formula. All you need to do is to shake it up and apply it straight from the jug onto the soil. You will have to mix it up a bit onto the top one or three inches of soil and reapply every three months or so.
This stuff is specifically formulated to help your roses grow strong and vibrant. It does a really good job of promoting more blooms and will make your roses look way more lush. Although we find this brand a little pricey compared to others, we think it is well worth the peace of mind that it is coming from Miracle-Gro, which is a trusted brand in this industry.

#5.Urban Farm Rose Fertilizers
Lastly, we have the Urban Farm Rose Fertilizers, which is a great little micro-brewed liquid fertilizer for roses. This is also a super-concentrated formula and one gallon makes about 256 gallons of fertilizer. This formula includes all of the nutrients a rose will ever need to flourish and thrive, including 4% calcium, which many other fertilizers don’t have.
It also comes with bat guano, worm casts, kelp, humic acid, and all sorts of other nutrients inside that will help your roses grow. In terms of value for your dollar, this is probably the ultimate bargain. While we find that it is not as effective as the Espoma RT18, it certainly works well enough and couldn’t even work better in certain cases under certain growing conditions.
