For those who are interested in the best lobster bait, we have to give it up to the Pautzke Bait Scents. This is one of the better scents out there to attract lobster and really get them to come in. It has a pretty decent range as well. The only thing is it sort of lacking is durability underwater.

If you are interested in the best lobster Bait, we think that the Pautzke Bait Scents is the way to go. In our opinion, it is the most effective bait for attracting lobsters on the market. Sure while it is formulas more for crabs and shrimp when finding that it works even better on lobsters. In terms of pure performance and getting lobsters to come closer, this is pretty much at the top.

Additionally, we find the range to be pretty darn good as well. It is not the best but the range is good enough for most situations. Whatever is inside is pretty effective, but also it is pretty smelly and rancid. Finally, we just want to say that the durability and how long the scent lasts underwater isn’t as great as we thought. If you want a long-lasting scent, there are better brands out there.

#2.Pro-Cure Crab and Shrimp Attractant Bait Oil

Next, we have the Pro-Cure Crab and Shrimp Attractant, which is the best lobster bait if you are looking for something that is made from 100% real products in a super concentrated formula. It works very well on lobsters as well as crabs and shrimp. In terms of ingredients, it has real ground-up salmon eggs, pure fish oil, amino acids, and a touch of anise.

Although this thing smells like garbage, we find it works quite well on lobsters. It is not as attractive as the Pautzke Bait Scents, but it certainly has a way better range and is pretty much the best on the market. And in terms of how long it lasts underwater and the overall durability of the scent, we would say it is definitely above average.

#3.Gulp! Alive! Attractant

Another great product that comes to mind when we talk about the best lobster bait is the Gulp Alive Attractant. While it is really designed for fish and crabs, we find it to work very well with lobsters. This thing comes in a nice and easy-to-use spray bottle and it really helps get the lobsters to come over, particularly if there are others in the area as well and you are competing with them on the best scent.

We would say that one of the standout features is that it has amazing durability underwater. It will last way longer than any of the other lobster baits we have tried. This definitely has an advantage in that one it means you are spending less money overall and two you don’t have to worry about replenishing your bait all the time.

#4.King of The Crawl Gooch Juice

The King of the Crawl Gooch Juice is a great little lobster bait that is made of 100% natural ingredients. This is a high viscosity spray that is great for lobster, bottom fish, and crab. While we don’t know the exact ingredients inside, we do know that it is made of natural oils and ingredients and it is definitely the stuff that is lobster-like and it will attract better than most other brands.

Perhaps the thing that separates this lobster bait from the rest of the pack is that it doesn’t really leave a mess and is incredibly scent free and not smelly. This is actually a pretty big deal for many people. And lastly, in terms of durability, it is definitely one of the better ones out there. It is not as durable as the Gulp Alive brand but it certainly does a good job of holding up.

#5.Spike It Tournament Strength Fish Attractant

Our last recommendation is the Spike It Tournament Strength Fish Attractant. While it is technically a fish attractant, we tried it out for luring in lobsters and it sure was fire! We would recommend this to anyone to use as a sort of secret weapon. Go ahead first with your traditional lobster bait, but we think we should have a can of this as a backup.

There are not many fish attractant brands out there that are lobster-like, but for some reason, we found that lobster really does like this brand. It is powerful but the downside is that more fish will come. So if you can live with the fact that there will be more fish in your area and put up with a bit more stink, by all means, this is a nice backup lobster bait for you.
