#1.RM Italy LA 144 70 Watts 2m amplifier
When it comes to the best CB amplifier, we highly recommend the RM Italy brand. This particular model wideband compact amplifier for VHF band, covering from 135-175 Mhz.In general, we would say this is a great little cb radio amp that has very consist performance with great durability all at a very reasonable price. In other words, good value.
Also, the output is a nominal 60 Watts at full power with 70 watts max. This unit is best used for low power handheld transceivers and has an input drive from 0.5 watt to 4 watt max.And it goes without saying that the output power entirely depends both on input power and the frequency of use.

#2.MegaWatt S-400-12x 36 Amps for CB Radio
If you want the best cb amplifier that is heavy-duty and durable, we think the MegaWatt S-400-12x is just the right one for you. This cb amp has an adjustable output voltage 9.5 to over 15 volts DC. Our favorite feature is the fact that this cb amp is designed for stamina. It features double ball bearing 60,000 hour dust proof cooling fans. The RPM is controlled by load and heat.
While most other amps/power supplies have heat cycles that will eventually damage the unit, the MegaWatt is designed for thel ong run game. It is also highly filtered and regulated so no RF noise. And finally, we really like the fact that there is an auto short circuit and over voltage shut down protection.

#3.NAGOYA NA-300N Amplifier for CB Radio
We really like the Nagoya NA-300N and think that it is the best cb amplifier for those who want portability and something that is small sized. This is a handheld amp that works for the AM and FM mode at 100W.Additionally, the most effective output is around 200 W with input 5 W and around 200-250 when the input is 10W. And the most effective working frequency is 20-30 MH.
This amp needs to be on its own 12v supply and we highly recommend that you add an additional 10 amp fuse to the power supply for extra security.Normal it doesn’t get too hot but just make sure you don’t put anything around it and give it plenty of space to cool down. Power mics will put you over the intake limit for the amp.

#4.DELTA DPS60M 60 Amp – CB Radio
Delta is another name brand in the world of cb radio, powersupplies, and amplifiers. We really like the DPS60M model because it has high efficiency, is compact and lightweight and gives you high performance.First and foremost, we really like it because it helps minimize noise from the power source. There’s also a convenient voltage adjustment knob that gets you from as low as 9VDC to 15VDC.
Our favorite feature is the preset switch which gets you back to 13.8VDC. Also, the noise off set volume control helps to eliminate the pulse noise of the switching circuit which is pretty unique to this unit. And finally, we really like that there is a LED back lit VU meter than can read both volts and amp draw, which is truly one of its kind.

#5.BaoJie BJ-200 HF Power Amplifier
Lastly, we have the BaoJie BJ-200 HF Power Amp, which in our opinion is a great little unit made in China that is for those who want performance on a budget. We just ask you to please ignore all of your preconceived notions of chinese products. As far as we can tell, this cb amp is pretty reliable and will get the job done for cheap.
Yes we agree that if this is the type of amp you want, a RM Italy will likely serve you better. And yes, the fan is a bit too loud and overpowering for the unit. However, if you can overlook some of these minor flaws and annoyance, this can actually be a pretty darn good cb radio amp for your basic needs.
