#1.STX Hinder Field Hockey Shin Guards
If you are looking for the best field hockey shin guards, look no further because the STX Hinder is clearly the best option out there. We really like it because it is incredibly lightweight and very flexible and is probably the most comfortable shin guard out there. And it is our understanding that comfort is very important for many people.
And it goes without saying that these field hockey shin guards are incredibly durable and have the right amount of protection where needed. The pad liners are also super comfortable and add protection. All in all, these field hockey shin guards can definitely take a rough beating and last pretty much for a lifetime. It is definitely worth the premium price tag.

#2. Addidas Field Hockey Shin Guard
Next, we have the Addidas Field Hockey Shin Guard, which is some of the best field hockey shin guards for those who are on a budget yet want something respectable. First of all, the Addidas is pretty comfortable as it features this soft mesh covering that is also well-padded for extra protection. The padding doesn’t seem to get in the way of anything.
Next, the leg shape is pretty good and looks like a pretty good fit for most leg and shin shapes. It has some natural flex and bends to it, which is also nice. Also, we like the fact that it is available in two different sizes, so you can just get the right size for your shins. Overall, it does feel cheaper than the STX, but it shouldn’t hinder your game too much.

#3.Harrow Probot Shin Guard
Another great choice when it comes to the best field hockey shin guards is the Harrow Probot Shin Guard. This shin guard is like the STX in style but offers a bit more protection. We like that it features a thick plastic outer shell that can basically take a really hard beating. While it offers much better protection than the previous two products, it is way less comfortable and less mobile.
So ask yourself whether or not you want more protection or more comfort. We think most people lean towards comfort but there are some who need the max protection. Finally, we really like the fact that it features a removable liner that you can easily wash and place back on the shin guard.

#4.Grays G800 Shinguards
The Grays G800 Shinguards are a nice pair of field hockey shin guards that splits the line between comfort, flexibility, and protection. It is also pretty reasonably priced. The first thing you notice when you pick them up is just how lightweight they are compared to other brands. Next, there is this hyper vent airflow system that keeps you nice and cool.
While it is not as durable and high in protection as the Harrow Probot, it is also not as comfortable as the STX. However, it is nice for those who want a bit of both and can’t really decide. Overall, the build quality is pretty good too and we really like the fact that it has a raised spine, which greatly helps reduce shin injuries.

#5.Vizari Malaga Field Hockey Shin Guards
Lastly, we have the Vizari Malaga Field Hockey Shin Guards, which is nice for those who want something cute and stylish. They come in a wide variety of colors and styles. Check out the link below for a full list of the colors. We are pretty sure you will find a nice one you like. We also like the fact that it is extremely lightweight and surprisingly comfortable.
The only real drawback is that it doesn’t offer much protection. Surely you have the basic levels of protection but that’s about it. Just don’t expect anything crazy here. But we will be honest, you should just get these shin guards for the popping colors and cheesy look. If you want a more pro shin guard, we have recommended plenty above.
