If you are interested in the best roller derby wheels, the Sonar Zen Outdoor Roller Skate Wheels is a pretty cheap budget-friendly option. These are great soft wheels that come in 5 nice colorways. While they certainly do not have the performance of the previously mentioned wheels, we think they are more than enough for most people to handle.

It is made of a durable dual-stacked urethane that will give you a long-lasting grip on any pavement. Lastly, we have the Radar Wheels Halo, which has a H-shaped hub. This makes it easier to perform stops and also gives you excellent handling of your skates. We really like the variety that this brand offers. It comes in 9 different hardness levels and colorways to match pretty much any skate. The hardest thing is to pick a color because there are so many cool ones.
With the Halo Wheels, you can basically achieve world-class edging without sacrificing grip. We like that the inner and outer edges of the hub are oversized. This reduces the urethane in the wheel’s edge. Furthermore, this makes it easier to stop and gives you an excellent response. Also just note that the middle of the hub has more room for urethane, which will give you more grip and control.
