#2. Penn Spinfisher Reels
For those looking for the best baitrunner reels that are good for saltwater long casts, the Penn Spinfisher reels are the way to go. We really like the Penn Spinfisher reels because they are completely sealed and fully saltwater resistant. This means is also resistant to sand, splashing, and dunking.
Although it is not a Shimano, it is also not priced like one. Also, it has nice drag and a great gear oscillation system. The biggest downfall is that it is a bit heavy. All in all, we would say that it is an extremely smooth reel that is well crafted. More importantly, it is priced just right and at a steep discount to Shimanos.
#3.Okuma Avenger Baitfeeder Reels
The Okuma Avenger is one of the best baitfeeder reels if you are looking for a budget-friendly option. While these are not Shimano reels, they get the job done for cheap. We would say pound for the price, it is one of the best-engineered baitrunner reels out there with great durability and impeccable customer service.
The Okuma Baitfeeder reels are made in Taiwan with precise engineering and imported to the USA. We like them because they have wobble with a smooth retrieve along with a dual drag system. Also, keep in mind that these baitfeeder reels are engineered for freshwater. Our only complaint is that the baitfeeder switch needs a little improvement.

The Yoshikawa Baitfeeder Spinning Reel is a great option for those who want a saltwater baitrunner. It has a great corrosion-free construction, which is pretty durable at its price range. We would say that the casting and action are all pretty smooth with a minimal clicking noise. Sure it is not a Shimano, Penn, or even Okuma, but it definitely gets the job done well.
In terms of additional cool features, it has a selective silent anti-reverse system, even flow chrome plated line roller, and a quick set anti-reverse roller bearing. Overall, we would say that this baitfeeder is a great bargain and for its price, features some pretty precise engineering.

KastKing is a pretty known player in the fishing industry and makes some of the best baitfeeding reels for those on a budget but also want something quality. We really like the versatility of the KastKing Sharky in that it is made for both freshwater and saltwater.
Additionally, it can be used for both left and right-handers and has a nice sure grip t handle for improved reel spinning performance. It features a CNC aluminum shark fin braid-ready spool.
