It is really designed to be pretty intuitive to use and doesn’t even need an instruction manual to operate. This time hooks up really easily with your feeder and everything works pretty reliably.
Although we don’t think it is as reliable as the West Texas Feeder, we think that it sure does a pretty good job under various weather conditions. We think it is easier to operate than the West Texas though. We also like how this timer allows you to set the RPM to low, high, and medium to basically change the feed broadcast area which in turn will keep the feed confined to a particular camera view.

We think it is pretty simple and straightforward to use and it is quite cost effective. You can program this timer to make up to 6 feeds in a day and it is compatible with 6 and 12-volt feeders. There’s also a pretty accurate battery indicator and the battery life is pretty good on this device.
This timer is very simple to use as it only has 3 buttons. Two for toggling up and down and a set button. It is designed to be pretty reliable and durable and we can certainly attest to this claim. Overall, we wouldn’t say it is as reliable or durable as the previously mentioned timers, but the trade-off is that is it simple to use, has a long battery life, and is pretty cost-effective.

The American Hunter Digital Timer is another great little timer that gets the job done when it comes to accurately and reliably feeding deer. It can feed from 1 to 16 times a day. We like it because it has a variable feed rate that has a very wide range. You can also set it to feed various days of the week and 16 times a day is pretty crazy high for a timer.
This is a 6/12V digital timer that is pretty easy to set up and fairly durable. We would say the pros of this timer are that it is just very flexible with feeding times and has tons of options. So overall, the price is right and the programming is fairly easy. And the durability and reliability are pretty acceptable although not the best.

Lastly, we have the Wildgame Innovations Digital Timer, which is a pretty good timer for those who want something that is pretty much decent at everything. In other words, we don’t think it is exceptional at anything, but it is pretty much straight down the line average. It is fairly reliable, pretty durable, and easy to control and use.
We like the lush and big LCD screen and the fact that the buttons are big and easy to press with gloves on. Believe us, it does make a difference on a cold day. It has most of the standard features of any deer feeder timer and comes with standard options. Although we don’t think there’s anything special about it, we find that the price to performance is a huge bargain.
