Best 11 Speed Cassette

#1.SHIMANO 6800 Ultegra 11-Speed Cassette

After trying out and testing various cassettes and asking seasoned veterans, we determined that the Shimano 6800 Ultegra is the best 11-speed cassette. We consider this a great cassette at a very good price point. Overall, this cassette gives you all the gears for all speeds. The only exception is when you are going up steep inclines or doing steep mountain climbs.

But you can always just pick the right size depending on the terrain. The 11-23 is better for more flat terrains and the 11-32 is way better for hilly terrains. Finally, we just want to say that the shifting will be pretty good and smooth, especially if you also get a Shimano derailleur and chain.

#2.SRAM PG1170 11-Speed Cassette

We think the SRAM PG1170 is the best 11-speed cassette if you are looking for a more premium brand with simply better-made materials. This cassette has a forged 7000 series alloy lock ring. So first of all, what really separates this cassette from the other brands is that it is made of high-grade steel that is heat treated. Also, it is light and stiff than the other brands.

Overall, this thing is ultra-light and definitely gives you a performance advantage. You should pair it with an SRAM 11-speed chain and rear derailleur. With this cassette and the right chain and derailer system, you can achieve ultra-fast, ultra-quiet shifts and no problems getting into the right gear.

#3.JGbike Sunrace 11-50T Cassette 11 Speed

We consider the JGbike Sunrace to be the best 11-speed cassette if you want added range and an improved chain line. It has an average weight of 570g and it is made in Taiwan. It is designed for the 11-speed MTB-driven system and is compatible with most brands including Shimano & Sram. Also, it is definitely a bit on the heavier end and definitely heavier than SRAM.

We think the JGbike stands out amongst the competition because it just simply looks cooler. It has this awesome red, black, and silver pattern that no other brand can match. So all in all, if you are looking for a good-looking 11-speed cassette that has pretty good performance, this is the one to get.

#4.SunRace 11-Speed Cassette

Although it is considered a bit of an off-brand, we really like the SunRace 11 Speed Cassette and think that it is not far off from the industry leaders like Shimano or SRAM. This cassette is pretty solid overall and is quite surprisingly durable for its price point. The 11-46T is really good at achieving great low-end climbing power.

Additionally, the finish and color are pretty nice and just look prettier than most Shimanos or SRAMs. The best part about the cassette is definitely the ratio as the jumps up to 46T are all even. We can’t really say the same about other brands like Shimano which sometimes has unreasonable and illogical jumps.

#5.Ztto Road Bike 11-Speed Cassette

Finally, we have the Ztto Road Bike 11 Speed Cassette, which is basically a knockoff of more popular cassettes like Shimano or SRAM but at a much lower cost. It is really good for those who can’t justify spending too much on a cassette but also don’t want a cassette that is absolute garbage and will malfunction at a critical moment.

We like how it has a close gear ratio, which allows you to transfer energy more efficiently through finer cadence control. It also has cut away and drilled sprockets, lowering the weight substantially. Despite the lower weight, the rigidity of the system is still the same and it is as durable as some of the top brands. Sure it’s not 100%, but it gets you 80% there.
