We also like just how easy it is to use these bottom inserts. When the inserts become saturated, all you need to do is to remove the dirty one, snap in a clean one, and reuse the shell.
These bottom hemp inserts consists of 5 layers of hemp and topped off with a very soft layer of hemp/organic cotton fleece blend. Also, word on the street is that they are incredibly soft. When you do put your hands on them, you will feel the difference in quality between these and another brand. They just feel more soft and durable than most others.

Next up, we have the HappyEndings Eco Diapers Bottom Hemp Inserts, which are the best bottom hemp inserts for heavy wetters and fit all newborn sized cloth diapers. We really like it because it is one of the most absorbent natural materials out there and it absorbs slowly. These hemp inserts work really nicely as a doubler and use a bamboo or microfiber insert on top.
Just be warned that it does require multiple washings in order for this hemp insert to reach its maximum absorbency. This is because of the natural oils in hemp. All in all, this brands makes some pretty good bottom hemp inserts and they are quite absorbent. Although they are not as absorbent as the Best Bottom Inserts mentioned above, they are a close second.

Another great product when it comes to the best bottom hemp inserts is the Buttons Diapers Bottom Hemp Inserts. It is made of 4 layers of organic hemp and cotton blend and topped off with fleece. We think that the real standout feature of these bottom hemp inserts are they are just feel incredibly soft and luxurious. This is probably due to the fact that it has premium cotton fleece as a top layer.
The trade off is that we feel the absorbency is just not nearly as good as say the Best Bottom Inserts or even the HappyEndings brand mentioned above. However, there’s a trade off for everything and for some people, comfort, fit, and softness ranks higher than absorbency.

The BabyKicks Bottom hemp Inserts are another great brand that offers a nice combination of everything. It is easy to use, it is durable, reliabable and absorbent enough. Perhaps our biggest gripe with this brand is precisely the fact that there is just nothing really outstanding about it. It is well balanced and pretty good overall, but just quite plain.
It is soft, but definitely not the softest. And it is durable and absorbent but not the most durable nor the most absorbent. You get the idea here. We are definitely not saying that this is a bad product. All we are saying here is that it is quite normal and if you like normal, you should definitely consider the BabyKicks.

#5.Geffen Baby Bottom Hemp Inserts
Lastly, we have the Geffen Baby Bottom Hemp Inserts, which is a nice 5 layer cotton and hemp blend that feels extra soft and wicks away moisture like none other. We like it because it has a high hemp content, which does a great job of naturally having some high absorbency. Also, it is quite good at keeping microbes and mildew out.
Each insert can hold up to 6.5 ounces, which is definitely way more than what most typical bottom hemp inserts can hold. And they also fit perfectly into a large diaper. Overall, we say that these bottom hemp inserts are great for those looking for long term usage and durability. The anti-mildew and anti-microbial feature for the long haul.
